Letters From The Heart 14

Mom’s has a fever. Last night it was 102.4 -102.9; she also had a stomach ache. This morning it was 101.0 and this afternoon it was 99.2; tonight she wouldn’t let me take her temp but she says she’s feeling better. If it goes back up I will be taking her to the ER. I have a feeling the cancer center will want to give her some fluids tomorrow. She ate some streak, rice, and corn and fruit salad for dinner but just enough to maybe feed a two year old. I’ve learned to give her very small portions so it’s not overwhelming for her. The thought of food makes her sick. She definitely needs to be drinking more…

She slept most the day…

I found her crying again…my heart breaks for her. God is the only One who can give her the comfort she really needs; that peace. I pray God can use the people around her to help encourage her during this time. Prayer is so important and powerful; please continue to pray for her. Thank you!

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Tara, My heart go's out to you! I know how stuborn she can be.I'ts time you got a little agressive with her instead of babying her and ask her if she wants to die and leave her children and grandchildren. Then start drinking fluids and let me take your temp. Your acting as if you want to die. Are you ready to meet your maker? Thats all you have to say then walk away from her and let her think. There are times to be suttle and times like now to be somewhat aggressive. Everyone I know is praying for her but we can't make her do anything it is up to her now. I know you don't want her mad at you but being to gentle with Mary sometimes isn't the answer. Just go in your pray closet and ask God how to handle her. Love Aunt Sharon

Hi Aunt Sharon,

On Sunday I had a friend of mine from the hospital come check on her. She is doing better. Once in a while she'll have a low grade fever. Thanks for your love nad concern. I know so many are praying. I'm doing all I can and I'm asking for God's guidence. God is telling me to wait on certain things. I agree there is a time to be aggressive, that time will come soon enough. Right now I need to approach her with a gentle spirit. All my love...Tara
