Jesus Is The Reason For The Season

For to us a child is born; to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called

"Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
Isaiah 9:6

The WINTER SOLSTICE is much older than your religion, and it is the REAL Reason for the Season.

Dear freethinker,

Thank you for sharing your comment.

The winter solstice is the shortest day of the year which does not always land on the same day. Respectfully, you’re right it’s not about religion. We know that truthfully Jesus’ birth probably was not in the winter but it is the reason for our celebration not that it is the shortest day of the year.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Genesis 1: 14-15 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark the season and days and years.

I believe that God is much OLDER then the WINTER SOLSTICE!

God created all things, that’s why we have day/night/ light/darkness, and seasons.

God loves all of us equally, even those who challenge God. The really cool thing is that God is a loving God and he meets you just where you’re at in your spiritual walk or lack of and he forgives.

I would like to add just one more thing. My relationship I have with Christ has nothing to do with religion. That’s where people get confused.

Thanks again for your comment, it’s just reassures me where I need to be on my journey.
